I like the idea and creativity of your icons!
Also thanks for joining the community :)

The only thing I would humbly recommend is using a tool in Photo shop (if you're using that program) that allows you to resize the pictures without having them stretched out (like On The Road).

Monstersinyou explained it to me when I had started making icons and the faces came out a little stretched out, so I'm gonna borrow her words:

It's pretty simple to just resize an image you want to use for let's say an icon on a 100x100px canvas. Just open the icon canvas and copy any image you want to work with in it. It will probably be far too big (the bigger the image, the better the quality), so all you have to do then is to press Strg + T and click the little button that looks like a chain between two fields that both say 100% for width and height. This button has too be pushed to remain aspect ratio - the image will not be stretched when resizing it. The faces won't look fat or long or anything, they will just look perfectly fine because you resize both, width and height about let's say 50%

Thank you. And thank you for creating the community.

Yeah I have a hard time with cropping, no real good programs to use for my graphics. Though I have finally learned to crop better in PhotoFiltre 7. The main programs I only have and currently use are Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 and PhotoFiltre 7. And in the Corel program I have I have not figured out how to crop at all in that. But thank you for the tips.

I will try it in both programs, but I doubt it will work though. But thank you all the same. I have been trying to figure out cropping better, but alas no luck with my main program.

You're welcome :)

Oh, unfortunately I know nothing about those programs..I knew a little bit of GIMP when I used it years ago but I'm mainly sticking with my old Photoshop 7.0 lol

:)

Yeah most graphic makers usually do not when I talk to them. I have only found a few tutorials on my main program, and they don't help much. I downloaded GIMP, but never got the hang of it. Lucky!
